When travelling to Berlin, especially from the East, keep in mind that there are currently literally tens of thousands of refugees arriving in the EU from Ukraine every day, many by train, so Berlin main station sees a lot more passengers these days.
COVID-19: Law of the Land
The situation is fluent, to say the least. Germany has very high infection rates, but in Germany Berlin is actually not very high on the list currently. The plan still is to remove most restrictions on March the 20th. That being said: Make sure you are vaccinated and/or tested and that your paperwork (digital or analog) is in order.
