Cloud is the future, that’s what you hear all the time. Project management, business intelligence, data storage, computing and even gaming go cloud. This workshop is intended to open you a door to the cloud development for Atlassian products, if you don’t know where to start. For experienced users this is going to be a chance to exchange ideas on how to make things better when developing Atlassian “cloud products”. The session will lead you through the process of creating an application including the back-end (Node.js) and the front-end (Javascript).

About Alexandr

Alexandr's way into the Software Development started in the early 90's with the first "REM" statement followed by multiple lines of spaghetti code. In 2000 he graduated from the University. Holding a Bachelor degree in Economics and Management he started his career as a Financial Accountant. This was the first acquaintance with Business Intelligence and Linux. A couple of years and countries later he started his Software Engineering Studies in Coblence, Germany. During this time he had an opportunity to extend his knowledge of software development working part-time for a number of companies. In 2010 Alexandr joined Decadis AG as an IT Consultant providing support and trainings for customers. Having gained a valuable experience in Data Science he has re-discovered the Javascript for himself and spent some time building a browser based reporting tool. Two years ago he became a part of the Decadis xApps Team as a Cloud App Architect bringing the company’s solutions into the cloud.
