Continuous Delivery is not Automation

Friendly reminder.... CI/CD is not a thing, is not about automation. A deployment pipeline is about automation and it's a principle in a practice called continuous delivery.

Topic of this panel are not – or not primarily – the technical aspects of the orchestration of deployment pipelines with Atlassian Jira (especially in the Cloud), but the organization of the method which is Continuous Delivery with Jira. The topic of this panel are the “soft” factors like the organization of and communication with & among personnel, adminstrations of permissions, the integration of inventory data and the documentation of changes.

How can Jira (Confluence, et al.) help to manage Continuous Delivery (in the Cloud) holistically and which standards/blueprints exist so that this doesn’t need to be set up from scratch every time.

Join our panel to discuss and share your experiences.
