Cloud is the future, that’s what you hear all the time. Project management, business intelligence, data storage, computing and even gaming go cloud. This workshop is intended to open you a door to the cloud development for Atlassian products, if you don’t know where to start. For experienced users this is going to be a chance to exchange ideas on how to make things better when developing Atlassian “cloud products”. The session will lead you through the process of creating an application including the back-end (Node.js) and the front-end (Javascript).

About Alexandr

Alexandr's path into software development began in the early 90s with his first "REM" statement, followed by several lines of spaghetti code. In 2000, he graduated from university and started his career as a financial accountant with a bachelor's degree in economics and management. This was his first acquaintance with business intelligence and Linux. A few years and countries later, he started his software engineering studies in Koblenz, Germany. While studying, he already expanded his knowledge of software development by working part-time for different companies. In 2010, Alexandr joined Decadis AG as an IT consultant and after gaining valuable experience in Data Science, he rediscovered Javascript for himself and spent some time developing a browser-based reporting tool. Two years ago, he joined the Decadis xApps team and has since been working on bringing the company's solutions to the cloud.
